Get to know conscious innervation, part 3
The mind is a flow of energy and information. Consciousness is the space of awareness it moves in. We can move upwards and downwards in the levels of consciousness — from the ground floor of objective reality to the top floor of illusory reality — and we can shift the scope of mind from XS habitual to XL universal.
(Note that both levels of consciousness and scope of mind are mental constructs, not actual entities or the “truth” — simply pointers and step stones towards an innervative practice).
The inner light
In the stage light of awareness, attention is the spotlight constantly scanning for obstacles and opportunities — filtering in information moment by moment depending on your perception and intention. Raising consciousness means bringing more light to the stage. The higher you go, the brighter the light, and the longer the viewing range becomes — until you reach the point where all is light — or all is dark — in the universal scope of mind.
The level of consciousness and the scope of mind, together, define the space your thoughts will manifest in — as ideas, concepts, images, sounds, words, emotions, sensations, etc. You cannot choose which thoughts to have, but you can create conditions for new thoughts to arrive…
